Matt has been in private practice in capital cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, USA, and UK and in Asia Pacific Rim regions. He has more than 20 years’ experience in all aspect of Investment Management in Real Estate Development, Fund Management, Business Development, Legal Management, Project Management and Contract Management of projects using software’s like Estate Master, Edwards, Buildsoft and Cost X. He has been partner, director, senior consultant to various USA multinational corporations, and leading Fund Management, Project Management, Contract Management and Cost Management consultancy firms like EG Fund Management, Rawlinsons, Mott McDonald Franklin and Andrews, Atkins Faithful and Gould, Wilde and Wollard and property developers like Frasers Property, City Development, Singapore Land, Hong Kong Land, AllGreen Development and Regent Development and financial institutions like Standard Chartered Bank, DBS Bank, HSBC, OCBC and others. He has also work with leading China developers like Country Garden currently undertaking $100 billion project. He was also with leading Australian builders like Leighton, Built and Hutchinson. He has participated in more 100 major projects like such residential,apartments, serviced apartments, hotels, health care, hospital, commercial, educational, banks, retail and industrial. He has completed various cost engineering and project management courses in the United States of America. He is a Development Strategist, Due Diligence and Risk Analyst for leading banks such HKSBC, OCBC and others in Property Development Financing. Matt is born in Singapore and a Singaporean

Major Achievements
Matt was involved as a Senior Consultant in undertaking Development Management, Business Development, Project Controlling, Cost Planning and Contract Management for the renown $ 2 billion One Central Park Project in Sydney the largest project being developed in Australia and achieved a saving of $280 million and profit of exceeding half a billion dollars. He was responsible to turnaround non- feasible project into feasible one. He specialised in Development Economic Feasibility Studies in Real Estate Development. One Central Park, a landmark building in Sydney comprising of 2200 apartments, won the ‘Best Tall Building’ award in the Asian and Australasian region 2014, Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) based in Chicago, USA. In in 2015 was awarded Best Innovative Green Building at MIPIM Awards Cannes, France. In 2019 CTBUH award Urban Habitat – District Master Plan Award in Shenzen, China.

Matt also involved with Bechtel International and completed the 1788 rooms Palace Nurul Inman for his Majesty Sultan of Brunei. 


Project Achievements
Matt was involved in all aspects of property investments from inception to completion in a number of mega projects such as Lumiere (450 apartments – 42 levels); Frasers Suites (201 suites hotel); Trio Luxury Apartments (396 apartments); Putney Hill Sydney (791 apartments and houses); One Central Park (2,200 apartments, 6 levels retail, 1 level commercial and 900 units student housing); Queens Riverside Perth ( 500 apartments, 236 hotel suites); RG ( 830 apartments). Matt has a track record for completing 5,167 apartments, 437 hotels suites, 900 student housing for record of $2.852 billion in a period from 2004 t0 2018.
Matt is currently undertaking nearing completion and design stage apartment development in Leichardht, Apartment complex in Macquarie Park, an apartment development in Erskineville, shopping centre and apartments complex in Eastwood, shopping centre and apartments development in North Strathfield total value of $3.2 billion and 3500 apartments. Matt recently turnaround a non-viable shopping centre and apartment development from non-profit to profit of over 70%. Matt assist subdivision and town centre development from $60 million investment to a profitable status of $200 million

He completed a master thesis “Building Cost Trend in Australia. He completed a Professional Course in Valuation in Singapore. Matt also award Associateship Diploma in Quantity Surveying RMIT University.

Legal and Law
He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree with Honours from an English university, and majoring in Company Law, Commercial Law and Conveyancing. He received the Certificate of Completion of the Academic stage of training for General Council of the Bar of England and Wales in (law of contract, law of tort, criminal law, land law, constitutional and administrative law, law of equity and trusts) and completed dining terms at Lincolns Inn in London, England for admission as a Barrister. He completed PIL postgraduate from Harvard Law School, Harvard University (in Copyright Law, Islamic Law I, Current Issues in Litigation, Evidence, Wills and Trusts, Law and Cyberspace, International Law and Policy Making I). He completed the Attorney licence’s examination at California Bar in (evidence, torts, real property, constitutional law, contracts, criminal law, remedies, corporation’s law, civil procedure, criminal procedure, professional responsibility, community property, wills and trusts). He is a member of American Bar Association (ABA). Member of Dispute Resolution Section of ABA. Matt has passed Multi State Professional Responsibility Examination for licensing of Attorneys in USA.

Post Graduate Studies
Matt have completed PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) Thesis “The importance of Innovative Intellectual Knowledge Creation in the Context of Multinational Business Strategies and Intellectual Business Strategies and Intellectual Property Law to Achieve Global Competitiveness “at the University of Sydney. Matt as a born Singapore have contribute to the strategy to make Singapore most competitive through his PhD research in last decade.
